Privacy Policy

Victory Auto Sales Inc. DBA Trade Rebel (“TradeRebel,” “we,” “us”) operates tradeinrebel.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you submit our consignment intake form, we collect:

• Vehicle information — VIN, year, make, model, mileage, color, condition.
• Title information — title status, lien details, name on title, state of registration.
• Contact information — name, phone, email, best time to reach you.
• Sale goals — reserve price, timeline, reason for selling.

When you visit any page on the site, our analytics and marketing tools collect:

• Google Analytics 4 — anonymized IP, pages viewed, referring URL, browser type, device type, time on site. Used to understand traffic patterns and improve the site.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — page views and form submissions tied to a hashed identifier. Used to measure and optimize advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram.
• UTM parameters & referrer — when you arrive from an ad or external link, we capture campaign source so we know which ads work.

How we use it

• To consign your vehicle: we share your vehicle information (not your name, phone, or email) with our inspection partner and the dealer auction platform. Bidding dealers see the vehicle, not you.
• To pay you: we share your payout information (name, banking or mailing details) only with our payment processor and only after the vehicle sells.
• To contact you: we will phone, text, or email you about your consignment.
• To measure marketing: aggregated, anonymized data lets us judge which ad campaigns produce real customers.

Who we share it with

We share information only with:

• The inspection vendor we use at intake.
• The dealer auction platform we use for listing.
• The buying dealer at point of sale, for title transfer and DMV reporting.
• Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) for advertising measurement — anonymized device-level data only.
• Government agencies as required by law (CA DMV title reporting, IRS Form 1099 if applicable).

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

How long we keep it

Consignment records are retained for at least 5 years as required by California DMV record-keeping rules. Lead inquiries that do not become consignments are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.

Your rights (California Consumer Privacy Act)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you.
• Request deletion of that information (subject to legal record-keeping requirements above).
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. (We do not engage in such sharing.)
• Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Cookies and opt-out

You can disable Google Analytics for your browser using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. You can opt out of Meta’s ad targeting in your Facebook ad preferences. Most browsers also offer “Do Not Track” settings.

Security

Lead and consignment data is stored on encrypted infrastructure (Vercel) and protected by access controls. We do not store payment-card data — payouts are processed by ACH or check.
